Toruń Model United Nations

This year’s topic: Hope for Democracy
I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Mikołaja Kopernika in Toruń, Poland, would like to cordially invite our school to their simulation of the United Nations – Toruń Model United Nations. The conference will be held from 29 September to 1 October 2017. During ToMUN the delegates will be debating in 4 General Assemblies, the Security Council, the Human Rights Council and the Special Conference. We are also considering adding the Environment Commission if enough delegates declare to attend the conference. Each of the member states of the United Nations will have 4 to 5 students assigned as its delegates to represent its interest. During the debate, the delegates will try to solve world problems through resolutions, just as the real United Nations performs its duties. The language of debate is English.

The participation fee for any schools registering before 30.04. is €40. It covers the lunches (Saturday and Sunday) and some of the expenses we must bear in preparation for the conference.
